not about a lot with the sea ... Here are some pictures from Jerusalem, Ramallah and the surrounding area. The most obvious is the wall that separates Israeli settlements from Palestinian ones. A tourist who arrives in Jerusalem as it may seem only an intrusive on a barren land. If you must cross each day to enter Jerusalem (and maybe you do not have foreign passport or Israeli citizenship) rather quickly becomes a nightmare. Ramallah is not very far Jerusalem: Just 15 km. Enter Jerusalem through the checkpoint that Palestinians must use but may involve a journey of several hours, depending on traffic and the "mode" employed by those who monitor the checkpoints, soldiers and staff of private security services. You can pass without being stopped, but it may also undergo a thorough search. There are no rules. No rights.
For many Palestinians access to Jerusalem, however, is impossible: it can only enter if you have a special permit, who is resident in Jerusalem and an Israeli citizen who is (or who is a total stranger). For many young Palestinians, Jerusalem is now only an imaginary city. Even
the sea is an imaginary place for most of the Palestinians. The children of Ramallah without ever having seen the drawing and without being able to go see it. For those of you who live in Gaza is perhaps a mirage of freedom, but remains a mirage. We can not remove than three miles from the coast even with the boats that have "permission" to fish.
